Remarks | It was difficult to pinpoint my exact location on the map and I'm not really sure of most of the angles. What I do know is that I was sitting about 2 miles down the mt Mitchell trail where it crosses the opening in the power lines. I do have several photos of the sunrise from that location, but unfortunately I was unable to get a photo of the actual event. I was basically facing east, the fireball entered my field of view high in the sky to my right, and exited basically straight ahead on the horizon. If any of the info that I gave contradicts this then it is this that is correct. |
