| Remarks | I have been flying since before I was born (my father is a pilot) and I have seen many astronomical phenomena, but I have never seen anything like this before. It was approximately 20x the size of a plane from my view, a huge, bright, fiery white ball with a tail, streaking down almost straight towards the earth (there was a slight curved angle from the left to where I presume it would have "landed" on the right after it went over the horizon. The whole thing only lasted a few seconds, but it was long enough to observe clearly. |
