Remarks I was sitting in my living room watching tv in a darkened room. I first saw the fireball in my peripheral through my sliding glass door. The ball of the fireball was mostly orange/yellow with some green. The tail was green. The tail was pretty long. It moved fairly slow in my opinion. Faster than a flare but not as fast as other meteors I’ve seen. It was closer than any other falling object I’ve seen. As a reference smaller than a golf ball but bigger than your average gumball. Since I was in my living room looking out through my lanai, which is about 10’ wide, and have neighbor behind and to the left, it lasted the whole time till it went behind the house. As it left my very it did not appear that it was going to burn out and would hit land or water. I am not sure how far away it was but it had a good possibility to hit land. If I had to guess at how far away it was from my position it would be as close as Temple Terrace, Fl to as far away as Land O’ Lakes Fl.
