Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I've never seen a meteoroid that close before. It was a large white ball with a colorful tail. It only lasted a few seconds before it got super bright white and was gone. It looked as though it was hurling quickly at the Earth. The distance was definitely further off in front of me. I was driving and couldn't stop to listen for sounds and needed to turn off the road where I saw it in the sky. It was close enough to the horizon had I been on the road I turned down after I saw it the trees would have obstructed my view.
