Remarks 1) this observation was for a fraction of a second. 2) several times brighter than venus and larger. 3) almost vertical trajectory, slightly to the west. 4) disappeared into the deciduous tree line and then below the horizon. 5) observation was from inside our house through a south facing picture window.
