Remarks | I've seen my fair share of meteors breaking the earth's atmosphere and lighting up the sky green but this observation was remarkable, the best I've ever seen. It was so bright I actually thought it was a missile headed towards downtown Chicago. The Head of the fireball was huge and the fact that I heard a boom about 30 secs afterwards was phenomenal. Ive been searching online all weekend, to see if this was reported somewhere else in Chicago and I stumbled upon this fireball reporting web site. |
