Remarks I was at the local flea market, when I heard someone directly in front of me shout: \"Do you see that?\" As I looked at the gentleman, directly over his head, this very short show took place. He kept asking if anyone else had seen anything in the sky, with no luck, till I approached him and told him that I had just seen a shooting star that exploded in the sky. He was pleased to hear that at least one other person had seen this very short show. Apparently everyone had looked at him when he loudly exclaimed to look at the sky, by the time they did, the show was over. And so it goes. This is the greatest natural show I\'ve ever witnessed!, and I\'m no spring chicken.

Remarks Duration: .75/1.25 sec. As I faced N.E. , directly in front of me, from right to left, descending at an angle of five degrees, a small head, followed by bright orange, followed by bright yellow, followed by bright green. Visibility 10 miles, no smoke could be seen. The head exploded spewing smaller bright orange/red particles in a ball of one to two degrees in circumference. End of show. Waited in vain to hear the sound of explosion, to give me an idea of distance. Must have been too far, as no sound reached me after a count of 15 sec.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks While the tail was quite visible, there was an explosion on the front of the tail, spewing bright red fragments in all directions, forming a ball.
