| Remarks | Caught on a timelapse camera, by chance, A high end HD webcam, Logitech C615, connected to SkyStudio Pro. The camera was set to store pictures every 10 seconds, stacked with another webcam above (from which I copied down the timestamp banner, it is edited in). The planet to the right of the trajectory is Jupiter. The camera is running on fairly fast shutter, even at night - 5fps frame rate - so the visible trail must have taken less than 1/5s, probably quite a bit less. A timelapse video exists, but only one frame contains the fireball - Jupiter, however, is seen to rise and better coordinates could be obtained from that - if you are interested. |
