| Remarks | Parking into the strip mall near 6:15 pm MST on 2/7/19, in CO. I observed the latter trail of a large meteorite. Once it caught my sight, I think it already traveled another ~ second. It maybe dimmed by the time I shifted my gaze because I saw a smoke trail of 2 vapor streams on both sides of the trailing light. The haze trail lingered, and the Western sky was at Twilight. This was impressive & it shot straight down but possibly started higher. Mercy :-) |
