Bright ball of light seem to travel much slower than I though it would with a bright bluish yellow tail that trailed very far behind it. It was so slow that my neighbor who I was talking to at the time had time to turn around and watch it with me. It was low in the sky seeming to be just above the tree line and I felt like it was going to hit land somewhere very near. I never did hear where it landed or disintegrated but there were sightings in Elizabeth City NC just south of us.
