| Remarks | Initially, I thought it was an jet aircraft contrail but then realized it was too low in the sky and then I saw the flash of light and realized it must have been a asteroid or comet. I have seen a lot of meteors enter the atmosphere at night but this was very different, since it lasted longer and was traveling at a low angle northward. The flash of light was bright compared to the trail the object was creating and was like a match flaring and then it dropped below some trees and I couldn't see it anymore. Pretty cool.... |
