Reports Report 159f (Event 159-2019)

Observer
Name Linda M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was letting my dog out at appx. 3:15 AM on January 9 and as I was standing by the back door looking out and facing west north west, a bright light appeared in the sky and my first thought was that is was an airplane, then, I thought, 'no', a helicopter?, then 'no' a shooting star? it passed through the sky and seemed to disappear as it traveled west to north--I then realized that it was not a shooting star because it lasted too long. It was a very bright, round object--it was awesome!
