| Remarks | This was seen while waiting a few cars back from the traffic light at the corner of US1 and Strawbridge Ave, heading east toward the Melbourne Cswy. Looking south, by chance, the fireball was visible toward the south falling down from above, but disappeared behind the building that is immediately to the south, so unfortunately it was very hard to tell the exact duration, if there was any terminal flash, or if it broke into pieces. The color was an intense white with some yellow to it, and possibly a touch of red on the bottom. This didn\'t look like a firework, appeared somewhat distant (although impossible to tell how far away it was), large, and fell rapidly downward and away from the observation point. |
