| Remarks | My mother and I were exiting the Veteran\'s Home in Hollidaysburg, Pa on March 5, 2012 at approximately 7:55 P.M. We saw a flaming object in the sky to our left looking toward Altoona, Pa. It was definitely not a shooting star. It was glowing white with an orange flaming tail. It travelled toward the ground and right before it hit, it vanished, probably disintegrating. I would have video taped it with my phone but my elderly mother was scared. I had to comfort her and I told her it was probably just space junk but I didn\'t get to video tape it. I really want to know if anyone else in my area saw it. |
