Remarks | It was VERY exciting for me to see this. I felt at the time that it was a VERY BIG event, wrote down the exact time, wondering if anyone else had seen it. Expected to see some big headlines the next day about what a big event it was. :) Weeks passed and I decided to google it, which led me here. I have seen meteor showers before and shooting stars but nothing that was this wide or this bright. I have seen longer trails than this one had, but they usually just kinda fizzle out. This was bright, with a big ball at the end, then no more tail. Can you tell me if anybody else saw this and how it compares to other similar meteors and what it would be called or if there is any other information of interest about it? |
