Reports Report 322bm (Event 322-2012)

Observer
Name Graeme R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks My son Aidan (11) first spotted the meteor. Initially I was alarmed as I thought it was an aircraft on fire, it appeared to be travelling fast and at low altitude ...but there was no engine noise or sonic boom and the object maintained altitude and rapidly disappeared over the pentland hills to the south. It was a clear dark night and there was little glare from streetlighting.
