Remarks i would have given sighting probably a higher rating but i compared it to a spectacular fireball that disappeared behind a snow covered hill behind my house , years ago, it was so big and bright i was waiting for an explosion on the other side of the hill, which of course did not happen. obviously never forgot it, so was amazed i glanced outside my kitchen window as this one headed, it seemed downward toward the danube river. the danube from me is north, northeast depending on where it curvers - coming from the southwest, hope i have that right, should be. this is a neighbourhood with few lights, it would have come over the horizon which is wooded, so dark. seemed, almost, to be going in slow motion probably the distance. it was almost dark, sky pure dark blue, not black. l
