Remarks | It was very bright and fast. Came straight down and "lit up the clouds" as it fell much like lightning does. Now thinking after looking at Google map, it was a few degrees to west of North. I happened to be outside and looking in that direction. It was too fast to take photo though I noted the time and related this sighting to my friends inside. I have seen several falling stars, a full-on comet and several unexplained lights in my lifetime so I knew it wasn't any of those. |
