Remarks I have stayed up late at night to witness some meteor showers from time to time but never in my 59 years have I seen something as spectacular as this meteor flash. I have seen long tails of many shooting stars before, some large and very long, but never so horizontal and ending with a flash \"4 times larger than the moon\" Thanks forhaving this site, I was watching the news but this is the site I just visited and confirmed what others alsosaw Tuesday night.. I will remember this special moment and my wife is now envious of my siting. Regards Cliff

Remarks I was standing talking to my friend who was facing Northeast, I was looking South when I saw a massive shooting star halfway up the sky moving so fast it went behind my friend head and it travelled to and over my left shoulder and I saw a huge greenish flash, I saw about 1/3 of the flash but my buddy saw it completely as he was looking almost in the same direction as the flash. He did not see the trail leading up to the flash as I did. I viewed it from start to finish, I could follow it 100% but it moved so fast I lost some of it before the huge, brilliant greenish flash. Then nothing after it exploded 20% above the horizon
