The fragments turned down and even sideways. They looked more like SpaceX boosters returning to land.

Remarks
Two pieces broke off. About 5 seconds later each of those pieces broke in half. All four seemed to travel down and sideways (odd) as well. We thought it may have been SpaceX rocket boosters returning to land, instead of a meteor.
