Remarks Large ball, very short tail. Meteor began N, teminated NNE. Brightness between mag 5 & 7. First appeared over my left shoulder, just below and East of Polaris - I happened to be gazing in that direction. Fair to much ambient lighting. Eyes not adjusted to darkness.
