I have seen shooting stars before. This one was much slower moving, and appeared much closer. Definitely the slowest object I have observed in the night sky. It was brighter and bigger than almost any meteorite I have observed before.
I probably would have missed it if I hadn’t turned into my street when I did

Fragmentation. Looked like pieces falling off of the back; they quickly burned out
