Remarks I am very sure this was an object burning up and the speed was like a meteor shower but singular and brighter by many times. I was watching TV in a dark room and it caught my eye as I glanced out to see how dark it was. I needed to close door to the chicken house and the programme I was watching was near the end. A glance a second either way and I would not have seen it. The dark sky did have stars and some cloud cover though this was not directly noticed till I went outside. This was not obscured in any way from beginning to end. A large tree would have blocked the view had it been more northerly. It ended above the treeline directly beyond the bottom of our long garden. We live on the edge of the village and have reasonable dark sky. It was not a reflection in any form from inside the room.
