I was walking my dog. I turned around and saw what looked to be a single-engine plane on fire and arcing/plummeting at a great rate of speed toward the ground. It was in the northwest sky when I saw it and it arched across the sky to the northeast. I kept waiting to hear a \"boom\" - but none came. As it arched and I didn\'t hear any noise - (I had my headphones on and was listening to a radio program) - so it could have been making a sound. I realized it wasn\'t a plane crashing - it was a meteor. My friend\'s husband is an astronomer - so I Facebook messaged her to ask what I had seen - and she told me what I had seen was a fireball. I wanted to show my husband what I had seen - and I discovered this website to report it - so I did.

Remarks
The train was very long. It was yellow and glowing. It was very similiar to the meteors I\'ve seen during meteor showers - but MUCH, MUCH larger with a long, streaming tail.
