This was the slowest meteor I have ever seen. It was a vivid orange with blue around the head. I did not see white until just before a piece broke off and became a smaller, separate white light. It was like no shooting star I have ever seen. It entered my field of vision much lower than any shooting star.

Remarks
Before it disappeared behind the tree line, the white “head”, definitely split. A smaller white light became clearly visible to the right of the fireball.
