Remarks I have witnessed two other events that were meteors (beyond a typical meteor shower). This one lasted much longer in the sky than the other two. It appeared to travel a great distance and was visible until it went beyond the tree line.

Remarks It was a glowing train. It was trailing behind the brighter ball portion and seemed suspended for a second. After the ball portion lit up brighter there was a gap between the train and the ball portion.
