Reports Report 163a (Event 163-2012)

Observer
Name Debra
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks My husband I were driving north on the highway in Austin. I first spotted it to the far left and it went across my field of vision coming in at a 45 degree angle. My husband saw it right after me. He later told me that he thought it was green in color. To me it was a very very bright white light with red/yellow edges. I have never seen anything in the sky as bright as this. It was amazing! I could not believe what I was seeing- at first I thought it was an airplane on fire. I reported another meteor a year or so ago but this one was much much brighter and closer.
