Reports Report 163bw (Event 163-2012)

Observer
Name Guillotte T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Most amazing thing I have ever seen. The light was so intense I thought it was a helicopter spotlight until I realized that there was no sound. Turning, I saw the meteor streak across the sky moving West to East and watched it continue East until it burned out.

Remarks Glowing bright enough to light up my entire back yard enough to make me think it was a moving spotlight. It cast shadows from everything on my patio. I watched it at it crossed west to east from my patio until it faded out west of my home. It faded out as it dropped down a few degrees, as if it was descending and then it went dark although it never dropped low enough to be out of my line of sight. It was as if it just burned out.
Terminal flash

Remarks Extremely fast moving ball of intense bright light with a long glowing tail. No fragmentation.
