Remarks I did not witness this in person. It was captured on one of my meteor cameras. This happened near the peak of the Perseids but this is not a Perseid meteor. I'll let the uploaded video and image speak for itself. The video is B&W so my color answer is not valid. Air glow and forest fire smoke appear in the sky of the video and image.
