Remarks I was driving along. It had been a few brief showers and sky open up and terrain widen as seen in the photo. The sky and clouds and mountains were so pretty, so I grabbed my cell phone, and waited until the truck that had just passed me moved on ahead so I could get a better photo. I then quickly took this one photo. I did not seen the meteors when I took the photo. I handed the phone to my wife and asked her to send it to our three children which she did immediately (that time 14:14). I later was looking at the photo and they caught my eye. I zoomed in and was so shock to see them. Please let me know if you receive this, and if you have any other information pertaining to observations of these two meteors. I have seen on two separated occasions, again while driving, a meteor split into two in the afternoon daylight hours. And now these two by accident. I assume that these two may have been the result of a similar split of a meteor. So blessed to have taken this photo when I did. What is the odds? I am sending it so that it with the photo can be documented and recorded. Oh and it was also taken on our 38th wedding anniversary (Aug 3, 2018) as we were headed to the mountains.
