Although I regularly see meteors and stay updated on when different showers will Peak in my area but I've never quite seen this type of effect from one before. It genuinely looked as if it was shedding its outer coat on both sides giving it the appearance of wings in some regards. I've just never seen one like that and wasn't able to see the full duration because it went out of my field of view. It was unique

I don't know exactly how to describe the effect it had but it seemed almost as if you can imagine wings from opposite sides. There were faint wing effects almost as if the meteor was skimming atmosphere and not quite able to fully pierce through.
