I've never seen a bollide this large or bright so I'm wondering if that's indeed what I saw. I consider myself an experienced amateur astronomer (I have a 22-inch telescope in a dome in New Mexico) and have observed many meteor showers and several bollides in dark skies, but I've never seen anything like this before especially in an urban area.
