I have observed small fast "shooting star" type events but nothing like this. Never have heard an entry before. Just happened to be looking that way as the moon was nice and I caught it as I was turning my gaze around the back of my house. The sound would have gone unnoticed as it was like fireworks going off somewhere distant. Only in conjunction with the observation would the relationship be made.
