It seemed to appear out of nowhere and light up the sky. It last a very long time . Was so bright. It was amazing to see. It was unbelieveable how close it was to us. After it was gone a very slight almost burnt smell was noticed.

Whole glowing trail started as blue and violet, then changed to red then orange as it progressed. Appeared as if was sparking at the end.
