The visible tail trailing the fireball covered an angle approximately equal to my outsreatched pinky and thumb at arm’s length. I am unsure as to the time of the event and it could have been as early as 10:00 pm and as late as 11:15 pm.

I did not see the fragmentation occur. When I first saw the fireball there appeared to be 5 to 6 individual pieces moving in close formation.
