| Remarks | It followed a very short path, but it's apparent velocity was also slow. I thought it might have been an Iridium flare at first, but it was much brighter and then it exploded. Its whole path was between h Ursae Majoris and Merak, so I can be fairly precise about its altitude and azimuth. An unusual fireball! |
