| Remarks | My wife and I were traveling on Maine Rt 108 (Canton Rd) and the field of view is narrow due to geography and trees, so we couldn't see if the fireball went over the horizon or if there was a terminal flash or any trail. The fireball wasn't like any other I've seen. It had flame/plasma, front, top and bottom of the object (from my perspective) in the colors described on this questionnaire (white with blue outline and yellow/orange at the leading edge. This outlined the leading edge and made it appear as if the object were semi-circular, but that was likely just the shape of the pressure wave. We had it in sight for about 3 seconds before it went behind trees. |
