Remarks I saw the meteor in bright twilight streaking across the sky. It ended with a bright green flash. The main component continued in the same path while a secondary bright component separated at a roughly 40 degree angle to the lower right. The two components were separated by about a half degree before becoming lost in the brightening sky.
