| Remarks | I saw it from the viewing platform of Nuremberg Castle, looking south over the old city First I thought it was an airplane coming in, but then it behaved strangely. My altitude estimates are very approximate: I was on an elevated place (about 60 m above the city), and the city was lit and I could not recognise stars that might help me getting a height estimate. |

| Remarks | Erschien erst gleichmäßig wie ein Flugzeug, dann plötzliches Aufleuchten (und eine Art Leuchtspur wurde sichtbar), Verlöschen, nochmaliges Aufleuchten und dann endgültiges Verlöschen. Kein Auseinanderbrechen. First it appeared to be lit evenly like an airplane, then it suddenly lit up (and a kind of light trail became visible), then it was extinguished, then it flashed up again and then finally extinguishing. No break-up. |
