Reports Report 33m (Event 33-2012)

Observer
Name Leslie
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Horizontal with slight arc. Most beautiful- large, bright, long path, dramatic, and a little strange. Friend saw it from about 1/8th mile away, thought it was closer, slightly higher. It seemed like an airplane at first, with a bright front light, coming over the mountains, but then I realized that it was moving so extremely fast it couldn't be a plane unless it was crashing. But it wasn't crashing, it was moving across the horizon, through patches of cloud, with a greenish tint at times, finally disappearing into dark clouds. I called my friend at the house and she said "Did you see that? It was a UFO!" But I think it was a fireball. I'll have her submit a report, too. I called KVAL news, and they said someone emailed them to report seeing it from southwest of Crow, Oregon, a few miles away.
