Remarks I was sitting on bench fsving direction of observed fireball. I was looking straight out, not up. It’s a reasonably dark area, & a very clear night. I saw a reddish orange flash in my peripheral vision, & immediately looked up. The actual fireball went by in 2 seconds or less, but I might have missed a significant part of the scent. The a fuzzy but linear trail persisted for 3 to 4 seconds. The fireball was more red-crimson& the Trail was more toward orange.
