Remarks | Falling speed was very fast. Was very wide, maybe three times that of Venus. Though it was a plane crash in first half-second. Was the same brightness throughout, except for a very short decrease in brightness midway through fall. I would guess fragments hit ground between Green Bay and 10 miles north north-east of Greenville. Went outside to listen for boom (saw through 12-foot tall window), but heard nothing. I shoot meteors about 6 times per year, year-round. |
