| Remarks | My husband was driving northward highway 101, it was near king city (heading toward Santa Cruz California, coming from San Luis Obispo). He didn’t see it, I am smaller than him and it was high on the sky. I was really stunned, it looked big, it was white and left a white trace that quickly dissapeared. I wish I had taken more detailed observations to help this questionnaire, I tried to answer to my best memory and it happened about an hour ago. I’ve seen comets, total solar eclipses and meteor showers (Leónids 1998 was amazing I saw from Costa Rica, they were big, frequent and left colorful traces). But today was very special as I never seen an isolated shooting star as this one, I think it can be classified as a fireball. |
