Remarks I did not have a watch but noted the time as an estimate once returning inside, probably accurate plus or minus a few minutes. Initial brightness of approx. 2X brightness of a normal shooting star which rapidly increased to an explosive event ( with a trail about a hand width) at midpoint in its transit almost due North tapering out in its gradual arc
