Reports Report 1144z (Event 1144-2018)

Observer
Name M S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks This woke me as a massively bright white light that looked to be falling directly toward me; it was overhead for several seconds. The ground was completely lit up like daylight. (I was camping with a full view of the sky.) Towards the end, the light moved northeast toward Cheyenne and was followed by an impressive boom that rumbled like thunder for several seconds. It was loud enough to wake other campers.
