Remarks | I owned a horse ranch on a tall bluff, before being hit head-on by a drunk, and I seen a lot of meteor showers and fire balls at night but this one was huge! This one looked so close and appeared to move slower/stay in sky longer than any I've ever seen! I would love to find out if it made it through the atmosphere! |

---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Duration | 3s |

Remarks | Orange/yellow fireball, very large, left what looked to be a whitish-light blue trail that was NOT translucent and as thick as the fireball and lasted almost as long as the fireball was visible |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | It went behind a fir tree branch at that moment but I was able to see a flash. It had orange fragments coming off it the entire time it was traveling but did NOT appear to get smaller before flashing out. It appeared to me to have entered the earth's atmosphere intact. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | During entire trajectory it had LARGE fire like glowing fragments on sides and directly behind it and a small short distance into the tail trail, but VERY close to the fire ball. |
