Reports Report 1029ac (Event 1029-2018)

Observer
Name Bill M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I'm a sky watcher and I've never seen anything like this. I found this website while trying to determine what we actually saw. It moved slower than any meteor I've seen before. My wife had time to ask slowly, "bill, bill, bill, what is that?" I then had time to respond with, "It's a meteor but," and then it left my vision. Unlike most meteors there was nothing trailing behind its center. It was spherical, but it almost seemed to have layers separated by different shades of blue. If I am in error by reporting this I apologize for wasting anyone's time. I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I've been observing meteors my whole life. I'm an outdoors enthusiast, and love star gazing. This was unique. Is it Fireball? I don't know. Based on what I've read on this site, I felt that was better to report what we remembered and leave the rest to the experts.
