Reports Report 1626a (Event 1626-2012)

Observer
Name Trent m
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Was a perfect teardrop shape, with light blue center, whiter around the edges. I know distances are decieving with these, but compared to aircraft that fly over on approach to airport, it appeared to be 500 ft. or so above ground level. Initially could hear no sound as it approached from east/southeast but could hear a sizzling sound as it passed in front of our location. Shortly after passing, the sound diminished and it dimmed before breaking apart into 5-6 small pieces. Doubtfull will ever get to see one this stunning again. 6+ adults 15 kids all viewed.
