Name | Adam B |
Experience Level | 4/5 |
Remarks | Immediately after observation I pulled out my smartphone and noted the time. Together with another observer (Sarah Pallo, 602-300-1563), we determined the location of the fireball compared the night sky. The observation started in the vicinity of Castor and moved diagonally to Kocab before fragmenting into 4-5 pieces, finally disappearing behind trees below 10 degrees in altitude. |

Observation | Yes |
Duration | 3s |
Length | 10° |
Remarks | Train started blue-green, close to head of fireball. As fireball continued, train turned dusty-orange, consistent with most normal meteor observations I\'ve had. The train faded almost immediately after the observation ended. |

Observation | No |
Remarks | Right before the end of the observation, there was obvious fragmentation at approximately 10 degrees of altitude. 4-5 pieces were approximately mag 2, as compared to nearby star Kocab (Beta Ursa Major). Fragmentation began around Kocab. |
