It I caught it from the corner of my eye while watching TV @ 02:38. It happened so fast & it was a stream of light yellow almost white & then a huge bright White light appeared. This was approximately Coming out of the sky North East as my window faces North. I was waiting for a huge boom but it didn't. It wasn't fiteworks as it was way to high when it appeared. Then, I thought it was a misdle because of N. Korea issue as it was within 3 sec & gone but the whole sky lit up to a point where I squinted my eyes & got real bright & then it was gone but no boom. I was unsure of it being a meteor because I never saw one like that til I remember seeing the meteor that hit Russia & it was exactly like that but like I mentioned no boom. It was approximately little bit west of I-39/Rt 51. 1st thing I thought of was oh C*** heading for Byrons Nuclear Plant. But nothing was mentioned on TV about Byron, IL., Rochelle, IL, Rockford, IL seeing anything but at 02:38 in the mornong, who's actually awake. I told my friends about it & all they said is, "Really". No additional questions so I felt like a nut job. |
